About Pantless Jams

Why is it called “Pantless” Jam?

It’s Pantless because it’s stripped of all unnatural ingredients. We only use the real stuff. Whole fruit, raw unrefined cane sugar, and lemon juice.

The name came from our 8-year-old daughter.  She set up a lemonade stand in front of our house and didn’t have on any pants! She said it didn’t matter because no one could see her behind the table anyway.  While she wasn’t wrong… we always wear pants in public, usually.

Where can I buy the jams?

We can be found at local farmers’ markets and select retailers.  Check the Events page to find the most updated schedule.

What’s Inside The Jams

How much sugar and fruit is actually in the jams?

There are 3 cups of whole fruit in each jar and only 1/4 of the sugar of traditional jams.

Is the jam gluten-free and vegan?

Yes, all our jams are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan friendly.

Why don’t you use pectin?

Added pectin isn’t necessary to create a great jam. Pectin is a naturally occurring compound found in all fruit, we just spend a little more time bringing it out.

Boxed pectin can contain GMO’s and we don’t play with those.

Do your products contain GMOs?

No! We only use the real stuff. Whole fruit, raw unrefined cane sugar and lemon juice.

What type of sugar do you use?

We use a raw unrefined cane sugar that is not processed with bone-char ensuring our products are vegan friendly.

Are your products all-natural?

We only use the real stuff. Whole fruit, raw unrefined cane sugar and lemon juice.

Do you offer reduced sugar/alt-sugar jams?

Not at this time. Check back in the future. 

What is the shelf-life of the jam?

It is traditionally canned so un-opened it has an 18-month shelf life, once opened and refrigerated it can last 3-5 months.

 

Samples & New Flavors

Do you offer sample sets?

Yes, we currently offer two sets, Sweet or Savory.

How often do you create new jam flavors?

We are always trying new combinations and ideas. Just look for our “Black Label” flavor of the month

What are the differences between the regular and black label jams?

Regular labels are the OG’s. Black Label are the premium, limited-edition flavors. They usually coincide with the season. 

I have a great idea for a new flavor, can you make it for me?

Customer Service Questions

Can the jars be returned and reused?

Yes, glass can be recycled endlessly without losing its integrity.  We offer a $.50 credit for each jar returned.

What if my jam is damaged during shipping?

First, we cry over spilled jam, then we send you a replacement. Send us a picture of the damaged jar to email@pantlessjams.com and we’ll put a new one in the mail ASAP.

Do you offer custom orders?

Absolutely, we can tailor the jars and label your event. We created one of a kind favors for weddings, corporate events, baby showers, etc.

Do you ship?

Yes, shipping cost is determined at checkout.

Do you have any recipes using your jams?

Yes, we love using our jams on everything but toast. Check our Recipes page and join our monthly newsletter to step outside the box.
